DESCRIPTION

1658642-2 is an AMPLIMITE HDP-20 crimp snap-in contact D-subminiature cable connector plug designed for reliable signal connections in various electronic applications. This connector features a shell size 1 configuration with 9 contact positions, a tin plated steel shell with grounding indents, and a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic insert. The connector accepts size 20 DF pin contacts and utilizes standard clinch nut mounting with 4-40 threads and self-locking feature. Key dimensions include Dim. A of 1.213 inches, Dim. B of 0.984 inches, and Dim. C of 0.494 inches, with standard mounting holes of 0.120 inch diameter. This RoHS compliant connector is ideal for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers and peripherals, and data storage systems where intermateable D-subminiature connections complying with MIL-C-24308 are required.
