DESCRIPTION

1658653-1 is an HDP-20 crimp snap-in D-subminiature receptacle connector kit designed for cable assembly and interconnection applications. This Shell Size 5 receptacle accommodates 50 contact positions and features a steel shell with tin plating, 94V-0 rated thermoplastic insert, and steel tin-plated shield for electromagnetic protection. The connector supports a recommended cable outer diameter range of 0.338–0.480 inches with a maximum inner cable bundle diameter of 0.450 inches, and includes standard clinch nut mounting. The kit is RoHS compliant and intermateable with size 20 D-subminiature connectors dimensionally complying with MIL-C-24308, making it suitable for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers, storage systems, and on-machine industrial communications where reliable shielded connectivity is required.
