DESCRIPTION

1658945-1 is an XFP cage with insulating tape and without rear gasket, designed for housing 10 Gb/s pluggable transceiver modules. The cage features press fit PCB attachment for secure mounting and includes EMI containment features with gasketing for excellent electromagnetic interference shielding. It is designed to work with a 30 position surface mount connector and supports patented riding heat sink technology for thermal management. This XFP cage is suitable for applications including OC192/STM-64, G.709, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet, providing reliable performance in data networking and telecommunications systems.
