DESCRIPTION
The 170454-2 is a pre-tinned brass receptacle terminal designed for TE Connectivity's POSITIVE LOCK Connectors Mark II heavy-duty 250 Series. This terminal accommodates wire sizes from 18 to 14 AWG (0.75–2.27 mm²) with insulation diameters ranging from 2.2 to 3.4 mm, and features an acceptable tab width of 6.35 mm. The brass construction with pre-tin finish provides excellent corrosion resistance and reliable electrical contact in demanding applications. The terminal is commonly used in automotive, industrial, and telecommunications equipment where robust connections and long-term reliability are essential.
