DESCRIPTION

172498-1 is a 13-position plug connector designed for wire-to-wire applications in the Multiple Interlock Connectors (MIC) Mark II family. This connector features a double lock plate mechanism for secure mating and includes handling ears for ease of assembly and disassembly. The plug has a dimension A of 40.0 mm, with n=2 and m=2 lock positions, and is constructed from 66 nylon housing material in natural color. The connector is compatible with corresponding 13-position cap housings (free hanging type 172508-1 or panel mount type 172515-1) and uses a PET double lock plate (174399-2) for enhanced retention. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, secure interconnections in industrial and telecommunications equipment where positive locking and repeated mating cycles are essential.
