DESCRIPTION

173645-1 is a brass pre-tinned receptacle contact designed for use with MULTILOCK .070 connector system plug housings in automotive applications. This contact accommodates wire sizes ranging from 0.50 to 1.25 mm² (AWG 20-16) with wire insulation diameters of 2.0 to 2.6 mm. The contact features a pre-tin plated finish and is available in strip form for automated processing. It is part of the TE Connectivity MULTILOCK connector system, which provides reliable wire-to-wire and wire-to-board connections with contacts spaced at 2.5 mm centerline. Common applications include automotive powertrain systems, safety and security systems, body and chassis systems, and driver information systems.
