DESCRIPTION

1738013-1 is an ARINC 600 press-fit contact designed for PCB attachment applications in aerospace, defense, and marine environments. This contact eliminates the need for soldering and enables up to 10% weight savings compared to traditional solder-attached connectors. It features a high strength copper alloy base with various plating options, operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C, and is rated for 500 mating cycles. The contact meets industry specification ARINC 600-19 and offers dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500 VACrms at sea level. Common applications include avionics systems and other demanding environments where reliability, weight reduction, and simplified manufacturing processes are critical.
