DESCRIPTION

173977-8 is an 8-position hybrid mini-drawer receptacle assembly connector from the ELCON Drawer Series, designed for signal circuit termination with crimp type contacts. The connector features a housing made of UL94-0 rated 66 nylon in natural color (white), with dimensions of A=14.0 mm, B=16.8 mm, and C=18.0 mm. The receptacle assembly is compatible with AWG #28-26 wire sizes and is part of a true hot-plug, blind-mating mixed signal and power connector system. Common applications include low noise power supplies, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), power factor-correcting (PFC) power supplies, and redundant (N+1) power systems requiring hot-plug capability.
