DESCRIPTION

174260-7 is a yellow polyester double lock plate designed for use with 4-position Econoseal J Series [Mark II+] cap connectors that utilize tab contacts. This lock plate is manufactured from 0.32 mm [.013 inch] thick material and is required for each connector housing to ensure secure assembly. The tab contact area measures 18 mm [.071 inch] wide by 0.64 mm [.025 inch] thick, with an uncrimped contact length of 20.4 mm [.803 inch]. The lock plate is compatible with wire ranges from 0.20–1.25 mm² [24–16 AWG] and supports both brass pre-tin and brass select gold contact finishes. This component is essential for sealed connector applications requiring reliable mechanical retention and environmental protection in automotive, industrial, and telecommunications systems.
