DESCRIPTION

1-747872-6 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 front metal-shell straight posted subminiature D-type connector plug designed for PCB mounting applications. This connector features shell size 2 with 15 contact positions, fixed female screwlocks for secure mating, grounding indents, and threaded inserts. The shell is constructed from tin-plated steel, with a 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing, and brass pin contacts with gold plating on the mating end and tin-lead on the termination end with nickel underplating. Designed for 0.062 inch (1.58 mm) PCB thickness, this connector provides reliable signal transmission in industrial, computing, and communication equipment applications.
