DESCRIPTION

1-749656-2 is a 68-position panel mount receptacle assembly from the AMPLIMITE .050 Series, designed for high-density D-type interface applications. This connector features a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) centerline grid spacing with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts (minimum .000030 inch / 0.00076 mm gold on mating end) and tin on the termination end, all nickel underplated. The housing is made of thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating in black, while the shell is steel plated with tin-nickel alloy over nickel minimum copper. It comes with assembled standard termination covers and supports 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²) wire sizes with insulation diameters of .029-.036 inch (0.74-0.89 mm). This receptacle assembly is ideal for data and device interconnect applications requiring reliable, high-density connections.
