DESCRIPTION

The 176298-1 is a panel mount type cap housing designed for 10-circuit Universal Power (U-P) connectors manufactured by TE Connectivity/AMP. The housing is constructed from UL 94V-0 rated, 5/6 Nylon material, providing excellent flame resistance and durability for industrial applications. It features a natural color finish and is compatible with applicable contacts P/N 175149-1 and 175150-1. The housing accommodates panel thicknesses ranging from 0.6 to 2.0 mm with a dimension tolerance of ±0.13 mm, and includes standardized panel cutout dimensions of 21.25 mm × 9.9 mm with centerline spacing at 4.6 mm and 3.96 mm. This connector housing is commonly used in power distribution systems, industrial control panels, and equipment requiring reliable, secure panel-mounted electrical connections.
