DESCRIPTION

177914-1 is a receptacle contact component for the Power Double Lock (PDL) connector system, engineered for reliable wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications. The contact is manufactured from phosphor bronze with pre-tin plating and is designed without lances to prevent entanglement with other contacts. It accepts 26-16 AWG wire with insulation diameters up to 3.1 mm and is rated for a maximum current of 14 Amps per line at 300 Volts AC. The receptacle contact is loaded into plug housings and features a semi-inner locking system that helps eliminate unmatting by external force, with an audible click indicating full latching. This connector system is ideal for household appliances, gaming equipment, vending machines, garage door openers, security systems, industrial controls, HVAC systems, and other applications requiring secure, vibration-resistant power connections.
