DESCRIPTION

The 178390-1 is a sealed automotive connector plug housing designed for wire-to-wire applications in the Econoseal J Series Mark II system. It features a 2-position configuration with keyed mating alignment, constructed from PBT housing material with a light gray color and NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) seals for environmental protection. The connector accepts wire sizes from 16–20 AWG (0.2–0.5 mm²) and 20–24 AWG (0.5–1.25 mm²), with wire insulation diameters ranging from 1.40–2.60 mm, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C. This sealed connector is ideal for automotive sensor and control applications requiring robust environmental sealing and reliable latching retention in harsh operating conditions.
