DESCRIPTION

179594-1 is a loose piece tab crimp contact designed for use in the TE Connectivity Power Double Lock (PDL) connector system. This phosphor bronze contact features pre-tin plating and is designed without lances to prevent entanglement during handling. The contact is compatible with 26-22 AWG wire with insulation diameters ranging from 1.30 mm to 2.00 mm, and the PDL system supports current ratings up to 14 Amps per line. Common applications include household appliances, gaming equipment, vending machines, HVAC system controls, and industrial controls where reliable wire-to-wire or wire-to-board connections are required.
