DESCRIPTION

184340-1 is a sealed sensor connector housing component from TE Connectivity's SSC (Sealed Sensor Connector) System, designed for automotive under hood environments. The SSC System features glass-filled PBT housing material for high temperature applications, with a wire size range of 0.30–2.0 mm² (22–14 AWG) and 5 mm centerline spacing. The system provides robust sealing conforming to IEC 529 IP 65/67 standard with 7 Psi initial sealing pressure, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C for PBT housings. It includes Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) and a damage-protected internal silicone seal interface. This connector system is ideal for powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and other automotive applications requiring waterproof and high-temperature performance.
