DESCRIPTION

1-967628-1 is an AMP MCP 2.8 mm unsealed tab housing connector designed for the AMP MCP Interconnection System used in automotive applications. This 15-position connector features Coding A keying and is constructed with PA 66 GF13 housing material, supporting wire sizes up to 2.5 mm² FLR maximum. The connector is part of the AMP MCP system which provides high reliability for long-term use across powertrain systems, safety and security systems, convenience features, driver information displays, and body and chassis systems. The tab housing mates with receptacle housings and includes optional secondary locking capability for enhanced connection security. This connector is widely used in motor vehicle electrical and electronic applications where robust, reliable interconnection is required.
