DESCRIPTION

The 1971778-3 is a Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) device, also known as a locking plate, for the TE Connectivity POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector system. This TPA is designed for 6-position, dual-row (2x3) connectors and is rated for a high temperature of 150°C. It is compatible with standard, high-temperature, and glow-wire connector housings within the series. As an optional accessory, the TPA provides enhanced connection reliability by ensuring that terminals are fully seated within the housing and preventing them from backing out.
