DESCRIPTION

206404-1 is a special CPC Series 1 square flange receptacle with solder type contacts in a 17-16 contact arrangement. The housing is made of thermoplastic material rated UL 94V-0, heat-stabilized, fire-resistant, and self-extinguishing in black color. The brass contacts feature gold plating with a minimum thickness of 0.000030 inches (0.00076 mm) over a minimum 0.000030 inches (0.00076 mm) nickel layer on the entire contact surface. This connector operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and offers quick connect/disconnect capability with thread assist and positive detent coupling. It is designed for commercial signal and power applications requiring reliable electrical connections with built-in pin protection and polarization for proper mating.
