DESCRIPTION

The 206505-2 is a 78-position, Series 90 AMPLIMITE nonmagnetic receptacle assembly. It features a front and rear shell constructed from brass with a gold plating finish as per MIL-G-45204. The insert is made from either blue Diallyl Phthalate (SDG-F) or black Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) and includes Beryllium-Copper retention clips. This receptacle is designed to mate with any plug connector that has the same insert arrangement as defined by MS18277-2. It accommodates a maximum wire insulation diameter of 0.054 inches and is supplied with 78 contacts (AMP P/N 206071-1) that are not installed.
