DESCRIPTION

The 208006-1 is a subminiature D connector plug designed for standard board mount applications. It features 9 positions with a vertical PCB mount orientation, all-plastic shell construction (Shell Size 1), and thermoplastic housing rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. The connector utilizes brass contacts with gold flash plating on the mating area and tin-lead over nickel plating on the solder tail, with round contact geometry and a post size of 0.66 mm [0.026 in]. The termination posts are 3.18 mm [0.125 in] long, designed for through-hole PCB mounting on boards with thickness of 0.062–0.093 in [1.57–2.36 mm], and includes PCB retention features via mounting holes with a 3.05 mm [0.120 in] diameter. This connector is wave solder capable to both 240°C and 265°C, making it suitable for standard interconnect applications in industrial and commercial equipment requiring reliable signal transmission.
