DESCRIPTION

208472-3 is a metal-shell circular plastic connector plug designed for commercial signal and power applications, featuring a 28-37 pin arrangement with an integrated TETRASEALS ring for splash-proof sealing between connector metal-shells. The plug housing is constructed from thermoplastic material rated UL 94V-0 in black, with a zinc alloy metal-shell plated nickel and stainless steel retainer rings for durability and corrosion resistance. The TETRASEALS ring, made of fluorocarbon, is located behind the plug-shell external keys under the coupling ring and compresses against the inside diameter of the mating receptacle shell when connected. This connector is RoHS compliant and suitable for applications requiring environmental sealing and reliable mating in commercial and industrial signal and power distribution systems.
