DESCRIPTION

208480-3 is a metal-shell CPC Series 4 plug with TETRASEALS ring designed for commercial signal and power applications. This connector features a 28-22M contact arrangement and includes a TETRASEALS ring that provides splash-proof sealing between mating metal shells by compressing against the inside diameter of the receptacle shell when mated. The plug accepts standard sex contacts and is constructed with zinc alloy coupling rings plated with nickel, fluorocarbon seals, and stainless steel retainer rings. This connector is RoHS compliant and intermateable with other manufacturers' MIL-C-5015 style connectors, making it suitable for industrial machinery, equipment, and applications requiring reliable environmental sealing.
