DESCRIPTION

2102317-1 is a component within the FORTIS Zd LRM modular connector system designed for rugged next-generation embedded computing applications. The system features high-performance signal transmission up to 12+ Gb/s with controlled impedance design and low crosstalk characteristics. It utilizes lightweight aluminum shells with chromate finish and high-temperature thermoplastic housings, with contacts featuring high-performance copper alloy plated with 50 µin gold in the mated contact area. The system operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C and is rated for 500 mating cycles. Common applications include avionics, electronic warfare, radar interface and processing, communications hubs, vehicle mission computers, and weapons control systems.
