DESCRIPTION

2-111196-8 is a 24-position ribbon cable receptacle connector designed for wire-to-board interconnect applications. This connector features a 0.050" (1.27mm) cable pitch and mates with 0.100" x 0.100" (2.54mm x 2.54mm) centerline headers. The connector has overall dimensions of A: 0.860" (20.32mm), B: 0.795" (20.19mm), C: 0.575" (14.61mm), D: 0.550" (13.97mm), E: 0.271" (6.88mm), and F: 0.644" (16.36mm). It supports mass termination capabilities allowing simultaneous termination of multiple conductors without stripping or pre-preparing the cable. This RoHS compliant connector is commonly used within electronic equipment to connect one board to another or one subsystem to another.
