DESCRIPTION

2118712-4 is a one-piece aluminum board level shielding (BLS) EMI shield designed to provide isolation of board-level components, minimize crosstalk, and reduce EMI susceptibility. This stamped metal cage features a size of 44.37 x 44.37 x 9.75 mm with a material thickness of 0.20 mm, constructed from aluminum for weight savings compared to cold rolled steel alternatives. The shield is available in tape and reel packaging with 90 pieces per reel or 180 pieces per box on a 380 mm diameter reel. Common applications include mobile phones, tablets, game consoles, routers, wireless meters, wearables, IoT devices, and other electronics requiring board-level EMI suppression.
