DESCRIPTION
The 215464-6 is a male-on-board connector from TE Connectivity's Micro-MaTch connector family, featuring a 1.27 mm contact centerline spacing for reliable wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. This connector incorporates tin-plated contact design with a gas-tight connection system that prevents fretting corrosion, the traditional failure mode in tin-plated connections. The design includes an additional positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, ensuring a stable contact spot and high contact force required for tin-plated systems. The 215464-6 is available in multiple position sizes (4 to 20 positions) and mates with female-on-board connectors including models 215079, 215460, 188275, 338068, 338069, 338070, and 188431.
