DESCRIPTION

2170744-4 is a QSFP28/56 cage designed for high-speed data interconnect applications requiring superior EMI protection. This 1x4 port configuration features through bezel mounting with EMI springs for enhanced electromagnetic interference suppression. The cage supports single, dual, and quad lightpipe options and includes heat sink capability for thermal management. It is compatible with data transfer rates of 28 Gbps NRZ and 56 Gbps PAM-4, supporting protocols including 50, 100, and 200 Gigabit Ethernet, 100 Gbps InfiniBand EDR, and 128G Fibre Channel. Common applications include network interfaces, switches, servers, routers, wireless base stations, and test and measurement equipment.
