DESCRIPTION

2-1761605-6 is a 16-position AMP-LATCH pin header connector designed for ribbon cable and IDC applications. This low-profile, right-angle PCB mount header features a 2.54 x 2.54 mm (0.100 x 0.100 in) matrix centerline with a shrouded 4-sided housing and center/military mating polarization. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with gold (30) over nickel plating in the mating area and tin over nickel plating on the solder tails, with a termination post length of 2.60 mm. The blue thermoplastic housing is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability and supports wave solder processes up to 265°C. This RoHS/ELV compliant header is ideal for ribbon cable interconnect systems requiring reliable, polarized connections in industrial and commercial electronic equipment.
