DESCRIPTION

2178710-4 is a Micro-MaTch board-board and ribbon-board connector designed as a female-on-board (FOB) connector with 4 positions for vertical mounting on printed circuit boards. The connector features through-hole (THT) PCB mount style with a vertical mount angle, providing reliable board-to-board or ribbon-to-board interconnection. The housing is constructed from black polyester material with a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) centerline spacing, and the contacts are made of copper alloy with tin over nickel plating for corrosion resistance and reliable electrical performance. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, high-density interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and telecommunications devices where space efficiency and signal integrity are important.
