DESCRIPTION

2335889-2 is an AMPLIMITE Size 2 D-Subminiature plug connector featuring 15 positions with a passivated stainless steel shell designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 requirements. The connector provides up to 500 hours of salt spray resistance without toxic cadmium platings, making it ideal for harsh environments. It features copper alloy contacts with gold over nickel plating, PPS and PBT inserts, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a current rating of 7.5A for Size 20 AWG crimp contacts. This rugged, corrosion-resistant connector is widely used in military aerospace, weapons systems, marine applications, and other demanding environments where reliability and environmental protection are critical.
