DESCRIPTION

2-338168-2 is a 9-way AMPLIMITE subminiature D-Sub right-angle plug connector with M3 inserts and boardlocks, designed for solder termination on printed circuit boards with European standard footprint. The connector features a steel front shell with tin plating, black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0, and phosphor bronze contacts with 0.76 µm gold plating in the mating area. It supports a maximum current rating of 6A, insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum, dielectric strength of 1000V AC minimum, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. This connector is ideal for industrial equipment, telecommunications systems, and data acquisition applications requiring robust, compact interconnections with secure mechanical retention.
