DESCRIPTION

2-5227079-2 is a BNC commercial O crimp connector designed for terminating RG/U coaxial cables (179, 179A, 179B, 161, 187, 187A, and BELDEN 9221 types). The connector features a nickel-plated body with polyethylene dielectric and is compatible with standard coaxial cable applications requiring 50 ohm impedance. It utilizes O crimp termination technology, which provides a single crimping operation for fast and reliable cable attachment. The connector has a body length of 27.69 mm (1.090 inches) and is fully intermateable with comparable BNC UG/U connectors. This connector is suitable for RF coaxial applications in commercial environments, offering low VSWR performance and field serviceability with industry-standard tooling.
