DESCRIPTION

The 2-5499141-6 is a universal ejection pin header connector from the AMP-LATCH product line, featuring 26 positions arranged in a standard profile with right-angle PCB mounting. This connector incorporates preloaded gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with a 2.54 × 2.54 mm centerline matrix spacing and 0.64 mm post size, ensuring reliable mating with compatible ribbon cable interconnects. The header includes long ejection latches with center mating polarization and latch-type connector locks for secure connections. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, the connector is wave solder capable to 240°C, 260°C, and 265°C, and maintains full RoHS/ELV compliance. This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust, polarized interconnections in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition systems where reliable signal transmission and easy mating/unmating are essential.
