DESCRIPTION

The 2-881545-2 is an obsolete, low-profile AMP SHUNT connector assembly. It is constructed with a natural-colored, HB-rated thermoplastic housing containing glass fiber and features phosphorous bronze contacts. The contacts are plated with a minimum of 0.38 µm of gold over a 0.76 µm nickel underplating for reliable electrical connection. This shunt is designed to accept 0.64 x 0.64 mm square pins or 0.64 mm diameter round pins, making it suitable for jumpering connections on printed circuit boards and headers.
