DESCRIPTION

3-106506-2 is a 15-position right-angle subminiature D socket connector from the TE Connectivity AMPLIMITE series, designed for PCB mounting applications with European standard footprint. It features a tin-plated steel front shell, black glass-filled polyester housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and phosphor bronze socket contacts with 0.76µm gold plating in the contact area. The connector includes 4-40 screwlocks for secure mating hardware and boardlocks for reliable PCB mounting, with solder termination. Electrical specifications include a maximum current rating of 6A, insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum, and dielectric strength of 1000V AC minimum. This connector is suitable for data communication, industrial control, and instrumentation applications requiring reliable signal connections in a compact form factor.
