DESCRIPTION

32456 is a pre-insulated ring tongue terminal designed for reliable electrical termination in control circuits and power wiring applications. This terminal accommodates wire sizes from 22 to 16 AWG (0.26–1.65 mm²) and features an M4 stud size for secure connection. The terminal has a tongue material thickness of 0.033 inches (0.84 mm) and is color-coded red for easy wire size identification. Key dimensions include a width (W) of 0.343 inches (8.71 mm), a center-to-stud distance (C) of 0.281 inches (7.14 mm), and an overall length (L) of 0.879 inches (22.33 mm). The terminal accommodates wire insulation up to 0.140 inches (3.56 mm) in diameter. The serration feature inside the terminal barrel provides exceptional barrel contact and tensile strength, while the special plating process creates high resistance to corrosion. This terminal is ideal for applications requiring UL, CSA, and Military-approved terminations in automotive, industrial control, and heavy-duty power distribution systems.
