The terminal features a copper body per ASTM B-152 with tin plating per ASTM B-545, providing durable corrosion resistance to salt spray and chemical fumes. It incorporates nylon insulation (UL 94V-2) color-coded blue for wire size identification, with a maximum temperature rating of 105°C and a wire insulation diameter of 0.765 inches (19.43 mm). The terminal includes a funnel entry for ease of wire insertion, dimples for maximum barrel-to-wire contact and tensile strength, and is designed for use with matching AMP tooling to ensure precision crimping.
