DESCRIPTION

350849-6 is a 6-circuit connector cap designed for 5.0 mm Power Key Connectors (5.0 PKC) wire-to-board applications. The connector features a compact design with a mated height of 19.4 mm and is constructed with pre-tin brass contacts for reliable electrical performance. It incorporates duplex plating with 0.000030 inch minimum gold in the mating area over 0.000050 inch minimum nickel underplate, along with matte tin on the solder tail end. The housing includes protective walls surrounding locking levers to prevent tangling with wires, and is designed to release bubbles created during potting processes. This connector is recognized under UL Component Program File No. E28476 and certified by Canadian Standards Association File No. LR7189, making it suitable for power circuits in home appliances, particularly gas appliances.
