DESCRIPTION

The 3-794630-2 is a double-row surface-mount header connector part of TE Connectivity's Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system, designed for wire-to-board connections with vertical angle orientation. This header supports 2–24 position configurations on a 3mm (0.118 inch) centerline pitch and accommodates wire sizes from 30–18 AWG (0.05–0.9 mm²) with insulation diameters up to 2.79 mm. The connector is rated for a maximum current of 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC and features surface-mount technology (SMT) with metal hold-down options, pick-and-place pads, and retention features on the solder tail for reliable board assembly. Available with tin or gold plating (15 µm or 30 µm), this header is commonly used in appliance control, industrial automation, and consumer electronics applications requiring compact, high-density interconnections with infrared reflow process compatibility.
