DESCRIPTION

The 3-87631-5 is a 40-position, double-row wire-applied housing for the AMPMODU Mod IV interconnection system. It features a .100 x .100 inch centerline spacing and is constructed from a black, flame-retardant thermoplastic. This unstamped housing is polarized and incorporates two detents for secure latching. As part of a versatile wire-to-board system, it is used to create reliable connections by housing wire-applied contacts which then mate with corresponding headers on a printed circuit board.
