DESCRIPTION

4-102976-0 is a Header Assembly, MOD II, Breakaway, Single Row connector designed for vertical PCB mounting with 0.100" center-to-center spacing and 0.025" square posts. The assembly features a flame-retardant thermoplastic housing in black with phosphor bronze contacts, and is designed to accommodate 40 positions with dimensions ranging from 3.900" to 3.984" in length. The posts have a typical diameter of 0.035" ± 0.003" and are plated with a contact area of 0.033", with true position tolerance applied when headers are held flat against the printed circuit board. This modular design allows the assembly to be broken to the desired number of positions, making it suitable for flexible PCB interconnection applications in telecommunications, computing, and industrial equipment where reliable, reusable connections are required.
