DESCRIPTION

The 42868-1 is a machine-applied open barrel spade tongue terminal designed for secure wire crimping in electrical assemblies. This terminal accommodates wire gauges from 12 to 8 AWG (3.0–8.0 mm²) and features a stud hole diameter of 0.120–0.175 inches (3.50–5.00 mm), making it suitable for medium to heavy-duty applications. The terminal is constructed from brass with tin plating or nickel plating finish, providing excellent corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. Dimensions include a width of 0.208 inches (5.28 mm), length of 0.720 inches (18.29 mm), and thickness of 0.016 inches (0.41 mm).
