DESCRIPTION

499206-6 is a 26-position AMP-LATCH pin header kit designed for ribbon cable connector applications. This universal ejection style pin header features military-grade construction with center and dual polarized configuration on 2.54 x 2.54 mm [.100 x .100] centers. The kit includes latches (part number 499206) that mate with AMP-LATCH receptacles with strain relief, and features a post length of 3.94 mm [.155]. Contact plating is Duplex with gold on the mating end and bright tin-lead on the termination end, with nickel underplating. These pin headers are commonly used in military and industrial applications requiring secure ribbon cable connections with ejection capability.
