DESCRIPTION

The 499374-6 is a universal ejection style pin header designed for military applications with center and dual polarized configurations. It features a 2.54 x 2.54 mm [0.100 x 0.100 inch] center spacing and is part of the AMP-LATCH connector family, offering compatibility with AMP-LATCH receptacles. The contact plating includes 0.00058 mm [0.00015 inch] gold on the mating end and 0.00254–0.00508 mm [0.000100–0.000200 inch] bright tin-lead on the termination end, with 0.00127 mm [0.000050 inch] nickel underplating for enhanced durability and reliability. The pin header supports multiple position configurations (10 to 64 positions) and can be mounted using 4-24 self-tapping screws or 2-56 bolts and nuts on PC boards with recommended hole diameters of 0.89 mm [0.035 inch] for soldering. This connector is ideal for applications requiring secure, polarized interconnections in military and industrial environments where reliable mating and ejection mechanisms are essential.
