DESCRIPTION

The 499913-2 is a universal ejection pin header connector designed for ribbon and flat flex wire applications. It features 14 positions arranged in a 2.54 x 2.54 mm (0.100 x 0.100 inch) centerline matrix with right-angle PCB mounting and AMP-LATCH technology for secure mating connections. The connector includes a 4-sided shrouded housing with short latch-type ejection latches, military-style center dual polarizing bar, and gold-plated square contacts with 0.64 mm (0.025 inch) post size. The solder tail posts are 2.79 mm (0.110 inch) long with tin-lead plating, compatible with wave solder processes up to 265°C, and the thermoplastic housing meets UL 94V-0 flammability standards. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable ribbon cable interconnections in industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics equipment where secure latching and polarization are essential.
