DESCRIPTION

The 499923-6 is a universal ejection pin header connector from TE Connectivity's AMP-LATCH product line, designed for ribbon cable interconnect applications. It features 26 positions with a 2.54 x 2.54 mm (0.100 x 0.100 inch) centerline matrix spacing, a standard profile, and vertical PCB mounting orientation. The connector includes long ejection latches with center dual polarizing bar military-grade mating polarization, gold-plated square contacts (15 µm gold plating on mating area), and a shrouded 4-sided housing for secure connections. The termination posts are 3.94 mm (0.155 inch) long with tin-lead solder plating, and the connector is wave solder capable up to 265°C, making it suitable for automated assembly processes. This header is ideal for applications requiring reliable, polarized interconnections in industrial and telecommunications equipment where robust latching and ejection mechanisms are essential.
