DESCRIPTION

5102162-1 is a vertical double-row ribbon cable receptacle connector manufactured by TE Connectivity designed for reliable interconnect solutions in electronic assemblies. The connector features a 0.050" [1.27 mm] cable pitch and accommodates various position counts, with dimensions varying based on configuration (e.g., 0.185" [4.70 mm] soldertail length for certain models). The contacts are plated with gold flash over palladium-nickel (minimum 0.000030" [0.00076] total on mating surfaces) and tin plate on solderails (minimum 0.000100" [0.00254]) over nickel underplate (minimum 0.000050" [0.00127]), ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The connector is RoHS compliant and available in both polarized and non-polarized configurations, with optional center polarizer bar for keying.
