DESCRIPTION

5-103904-8 is a latching header connector with hold-down feature designed for single-row, 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline board-to-board interconnection applications. The connector features an 8-position configuration with dimensions of 9.00 inches [22.86 mm] length (A), 9.20 inches [23.37 mm] (B), and 8.00 inches [20.32 mm] (C), utilizing 0.025 inch (0.64 mm) square straight posts with phosphor bronze construction. The header is available in multiple plating options including Plating A (duplex plated gold on contact area with nickel underplate) and Plating B, providing excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. This connector is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and computer peripherals where secure, latching connections and reliable board retention are essential.
