DESCRIPTION

5120527-2 is a 1.0mm free height (FH) IEEE 1386 compliant mezzanine card connector plug designed for parallel board-to-board stacking applications. This 84-position connector features a 1.0mm pitch contact spacing and is available with 50 microinches gold plating and pickup cap configuration. The connector is rated for 1.0 ampere per contact with a maximum contact resistance of 30 milliohms (initial) and has been tested to a minimum of 100 mating cycles for durability. Improved locating posts enable fast and accurate hand placement on the board, while additional clearance during mating increases reliability by allowing registration misalignment and eliminating stresses on solder joints. This connector is ideal for high-density interconnect applications in mezzanine card systems where space constraints and reliable board-to-board connections are critical.
